Report your lost item
- Step 1: Create a free account at app.foundlyhq.com.
- Step 2: Select Report Lost.
- Step 3: Choose the airport or airline where you lost the item.
- Step 4: Describe it: what it is, colour, brand, and anything unique such as stickers, engravings, or damage. More detail means better matches.
Check your matches
Foundly compares your description with items staff have logged and shows you possible matches, each labelled by how closely it fits:
- Very Strong Match: 90% or higher.
- Potential Match: 70% to 89%.
- Weak Match: below 70%.
Choose This is My Item to start a claim, or Not My Item to skip it. If nothing matches yet, keep your report open and we will alert you when a new match appears.
Claim your item
Give your contact details and proof that the item is yours, such as a receipt, a serial number, or a photo of you with it. Staff at the airport or airline review your claim and contact you.
Track your reports
My Reports lists everything you have reported and its status. Open a report to see its progress, edit it, or withdraw it if you have already found your item. Use Messages to talk with the staff handling your claim.
