How claims arrive
When a passenger reports a lost item, Foundly's AI suggests found items that look similar. If the passenger recognises one, they choose This is My Item, add their contact details, and describe proof of ownership, with photos if they have them. The claim then appears in Claims for your team.
Review a claim
- Step 1: Open Claims and filter by status to see what is pending.
- Step 2: Open a claim to see the claimant's details, the item they are claiming, and the proof they gave.
- Step 3: Compare the proof with what only the owner would know: contents, serial numbers, stickers, damage, or a lock-screen photo.
- Step 4: Choose Approve, or Reject and give a reason. Both are recorded against the claim.
Who can review and approve
Reviewing and approving are separate permissions. Lost Property Officers, Operations Supervisors, Airline Station Managers, and Airport Administrators can approve. Security Officers, Customer Service Agents, and Auditors can review but not approve. See Team & roles for the full list.
After you approve
Use Messages to arrange collection with the passenger. The claim stays in your records with who approved it and when.
