Why locations matter
Tagging each found item with where it was collected tells your team where to look for it, and gives passengers a clearer picture when an item matches their report.
Add or edit a location
- Step 1: Open Locations from the navigation.
- Step 2: Add a location and choose its type: gate, baggage service office, lounge, or security checkpoint.
- Step 3: Give it a name your team recognises, such as "Gate B12" or "Terminal 2 baggage office".
- Step 4: To change a location later, open it and edit its details.
Organization types
Every organization on Foundly has a type, chosen when it is created: airport authority, airline, ground handler, lounge operator, baggage service, security operator, or service partner. Several organizations can work at the same airport, each with its own team and records.
