  3. Step 3: Give the item a name and a clear description: colour, brand, size, and any markings or damage.
  4. Step 4: Choose a category and say where it was found. Tag the location, such as a gate or baggage service office.
  5. Step 5: Add photos from more than one angle, then save.

Import many items at once

Logging a batch, such as the end of a shift or items handed over by an airline? Import them from a spreadsheet.

  1. Step 1: In Found items, open Bulk actions and choose Import items.
  2. Step 2: Upload a CSV or Excel file.
  3. Step 3: Check the preview, then confirm the import.

Find and update items

The Found items table lists everything your organization has logged. Use the search bar, column filters, and sorting to narrow it down, then open an item to update its details, status, or photos.

Archives and the 90-day policy

Items that stay unclaimed for 90 days move to Archives automatically, which keeps your active list focused. Archived items are kept, not deleted.

  1. Step 1: Open Archives to see archived items. They are read-only.
  2. Step 2: Select an item and choose Unarchive to return it to your active list.
